Making an Impact in Communities of Need

Solving disparities in access to care with State agencies.

As trusted agents in their communities, Local, State, and Federal agencies have a tremendous responsibility when it comes to their constituents most in need. Whether it be access to health and wellness services or properly addressing social determinants of health, many simply need less burdensome avenues to access care and wellness resources. High Prairie Partners provided an analysis for the State agency of their options to disseminate care resources to the individuals and communities most adversely impacted during the COVID-19 pandemic. This research was more than an in depth view of the challenges facing their organization, it provided an actionable plan complete with partners we believed could deliver the services, all within their grant budget.

Bridging Gaps in the Information Network

Creating a clinically integrated network across the State’s critical access and community hospitals.

One of the least densely populated states. Disparate electronic medical records. Limited support resources. Federal funding available to address it. Creating a useful clinically integrated network of provider organizations is no small task. You need to ensure a common and achievable end goal, mutually beneficial outcomes, vendor planning, coordinated project calendars and an economic feasibility plan commensurate with the work. HPP’s team was tasked with orchestrating the endeavor and creating the leave behind operating plan for its sustainability. Clinical and data Interoperability are still at the center of achieving the quadruple aim.

Guardrails in Government Sponsored Programs

Developing the performance framework for at-risk population management.

Program integrity is paramount to fostering belief and trust in any government initiative. Nowhere is this more critical than the healthcare sector. State’s Home and Community Based Service programs provide a needed backbone in the administration of Medicaid services. Many states are using this time to assess their community based partners ability to connect with their members and how referral and utilization patterns reflect the efficacy of the program. Our team scoped the consulting engagement for the work required to understand how effective these programs are acting in relation to their intended aims. We also provided a holistic analysis and framework into the complex relationship between payer, agency, and beneficiary interaction, specifically directing improvement efforts and performance optimization.

From Row Boat to Steam Engine

Creating organizational sales structure, strategy and initiating go-to-market endeavors.

With a singular SaaS product in the healthcare information technology space this newly developed business vertical was floundering for ideas. Their organization, while proven and live at a single client, hadn’t considered how to properly scale within their market or potential ancillary solution offerings to keep their heads above water. During a six month engagement HPP provided a market assessment of what near term success could look like, an actionable delivery plan, developed a credentialed client candidate list, scoped their first ancillary solution roadmap, provided sales team structure and compensation plans, and instituted their first foray into partnership channel sales. Interim term staffing can accelerate your team’s business growth and provide qualified outside perspective.

New Markets and Greener Pastures

Providing growth advisory services for new market penetration.

Where is our business going to find new areas of growth? Most every company across any stage of their growth lifecycle has found themselves grappling with this very question. A legacy compliance solution provider had began to feel the constraints of an existing market with legacy players abound and a fixed prospective client base. Following HPP’s investigative and personalized due diligence process, two ideas looked to move the needle above all others. Rebranding a legacy solution offering to solve an adjacent use case and considering the technological application in a new country. Certain aspects of the technology market, particularly in healthcare, can lag in other developed nations. We uncovered an emerging market teeming with unmet suitors and developed the requirements roadmap which would be needed to compete in this new market. Less than a year later, their first international client sowed the go-forward strategy to being an international health care player.

Turning Challenge Into Opportunity

Product catalog optimization and partnership development.

Many organizations wondered what long term effects a global pandemic would have on their business. Sometimes the best defense is a good offense. Rather than allowing a global slow down in their legacy offerings dictate their business’ heading during a tenuous time, High Prairie Partners’ team developed new solution offerings outside of the traditional scope of business. By creating a partnership which utilized existing infrastructure the lead time to market was minimized and the risk shared amongst the collaborative team. Thankfully, the slow down to business was temporary but their new partnership delivered lasting financial impact in the years following its creation.
